Brendon Aldridge

Launching his career as an apprentice technician at Rodney Wayne St Lukes, Brendon’s talent was spotted early. He made a quick move up the career ladder and gained a National Hairdressing qualification. He then became a key member of our Northern Regional Artistic Team, and soon after our National Artistic Team. This gave him a significant opportunity to express his creativity. Brendon’s energies never seem to stop. After spending several years as a full time tutor at the Winters Hairdressing College, he then returned to us as our ‘revered’ Technical Consultant. Brendon is a true example of “who’s made it” in our business, and now with 14 years experience, he’s truly at the top of his game.

Steven Thompson

Emigrating with his family from the UK ten years ago, Steven was immediately attracted to the hairdressing industry. His first position in New Zealand was a management role at the Rodney Wayne Shore City salon, and soon after this he became a trainer and Salon Manager. Steven’s artistic qualities were very quickly recognised, an he now plays an important role as part of our National Artistic Team.

A creative force behind the compilation of our fashion collections, Steven also has been awarded “Stylist and Manager of the Year”. What’s more, he also attends our quarterly management meetings which influence the direction and success of the Rodney Wayne group.

Lorraine Benbow

Lorraine presents another ‘ladder of success’ story. How about this! She began as an apprentice and rapidly worked her way up to Floor Manager. Soon she became a member of our National Artistic Team. But it didn’t end there. Today, Lorraine owns her own thriving Rodney Wayne salon. In her words: “While doing my apprenticeship, I always wanted to own my own Rodney Wayne salon. Now as the proud owner of the Napier Rodney Wayne salon, it’s like a dream come true”.
